Obstacle of Affliction For me personally, this band is the greatest discovery of 2020 (yes, I was unaware until late) . I hear all the influences of death doom greats like Swallow the Sun and Ghost Brigade within this band. This is a high quality release that should not be missed.

Piper Haqim With even more musical elements than their debut EP, this band has its tentacles just gripping me by the ears and keeps me wanting more. It is really hard to pick a favourite track off this album. The heavy keeps getting heavier, the melancholy is on overdrive and the sound is fantastic. Favorite track: Contrition.
